The Corporate Director of Member Experience is responsible for the strategic development, standardization, and implementation of member experience and youth programming across the Club’s portfolio of properties. This role ensures the consistent delivery of innovative, high-quality programming and events that enhance member engagement across all age groups. This position partners closely with club-level leadership teams to design, support, and execute best-in-class experiences, while aligning programming with the organization’s brand standards and financial objectives. The Corporate Director will provide leadership in program development, operational execution, and team support to elevate the overall member experience across all locations.
Travel will be required in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, standardize, and implement member experience and youth programming across all club locations.
- Create scalable, innovative programs and events that align with the company’s brand and enhance member engagement.
- Ensure programming meets the needs of all demographics, with a strong emphasis on youth, family, and lifestyle offerings.
- Partner with on-site Directors and club leadership teams to support the execution of programs, events, and initiatives.
- Provide guidance, resources, and best practices to ensure consistency and excellence across all properties.
- Coordinate programming calendars to align youth, family, and adult offerings for a seamless member experience.
- Assist in the development and execution of club-level member events in collaboration with on-site teams.
- Provide oversight and direction for large-scale events, camps, and youth-focused programming across the portfolio.
- Support recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing development of Member Experience and youth programming staff across all locations.
- Mentor and guide club-level Directors and teams to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Partner with club leadership to ensure programming aligns with budgetary goals and financial performance expectations.
- Analyze program performance, participation, and profitability, making strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure operational efficiency and consistency in program delivery across all clubs.
- Work closely with department leaders (Food & Beverage, Golf, Tennis, Aquatics, Fitness) to integrate services into lifestyle programming.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support communication strategies and promote member engagement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain service standards to ensure a consistently high-quality member experience across all properties.
- Evaluate programs through member feedback, participation metrics, and club performance data.
- Continuously refine offerings to enhance satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Ensure all programming adheres to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and oversight to maintain safe and compliant environments, particularly within youth programming.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Resort or Cruise line experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in member experience, programming, or club operations, preferably in a multi-location or leadership capacity.
- Proven experience developing and implementing programs and events across diverse demographics.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing performance metrics.
